NACVA – CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS MANAGE NACVA IP EDUCATION

The National Association of Chartered Valuation Analysts (NACVA) has elected to use four senior executives of CONSOR as instructors for their four-day program entitled, "Valuing Intangible Assets for Litigation and Financial Reporting."  This program of certification is available as part of the Chartered Valuation Analysts’ training.  The Valuing Intangible Assets course is designed to provide to CVA participants a broad spectrum of techniques for identifying – and methods of valuing intangible assets and intellectual property.  It covers financial reporting under FASB, litigation arenas, mergers and acquisitions, and Section 482 - Tax and New Company Transfers.  The four-day program utilizes multiple case studies and redacted reports in order to provide to the students hands on experience and to reinforce the concepts involved.  In addition, CVA attendees receive pre-course materials, as well as an online CPE study to be completed prior to the four-day program.

Daryl Martin, Fernando Torres, David Drews, and Weston Anson. Each of these four principles of the CONSOR firm alternate in leading the various program segments. The program includes sections on trademarks and brands, copyrights and rights of publicity, patents, and trade secrets, and software and IT. The team from CONSOR has taught this course multiple times on behalf of NACVA, in multiple locations across the country. Click here for more information.
