ABA Publishes New Anson Book – Expert Witnesses, Valuation, and Damages: The Expert’s Point of View
CONSOR Chairman Weston Anson’s latest book has just been published by the American Bar Association, entitled Expert Witnesses, Valuation, and Damages: The Expert’s Point of View. The book takes a rare view as it is written about the expert witness process through the eyes of an expert.
Mr. Anson’s extensive experience as an expert witness helps guide the litigator through an important and complicated process. As elements of IP and Intangible Assets affect disputes in nearly every area of law, you can be certain that demand for economic damages analysis and valuation for litigation, arbitration and mediation is growing.
The book covers how to best use experts, when to hire them, how to find good ones, and how to test whether they have adequate knowledge. Litigators will turn to the book whenever expert skills in IP valuation analysis, economics, and IP business management issues are needed.
Additional topics include:
- Guiding the litigator on how to use the witness in pretrial phases and negotiations
- Effectively using the expert during discovery
- Using the expert’s report when preparing trial strategy
Expert Witnesses, Valuation, and Damages: The Expert’s Point of View is published by the American Bar Association, and sponsored by the Solo, Small Firm, and General Practice Division. To order your copy today, click here.
